The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The MIDST of the garden, midst not meaning "middle" but AMONGST and it is particularly evident in that both Adam and Eve wherever they were, were in the midst of the garden, more understanding when Jesus reminds us that "the kingdom of God is within", the spiritual directive of the word MIDST for both a "tree OF LIFE", as well as a "tree OF KNOWLEDGE", the result of mixing both good and evil instead of only Good being death of course.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
So many times it has been overlooked that the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil, is a tree OF KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil, which can in so many ways be described as doctrinal discernment, which is very understandable given all that happened at this point of creation.
In a nutshell, as we know at this very time, that it is Good amongst people to maintain and give life, and that it is evil to kill. From people towards animals because they are food for us, it is good to kill them and use them as God ordained every creature he made for man's consumption and use, but for man to excersize killing and harm amongst themselves is evil.
Why it can be described in many ways, can be given in the example of a knife. A knife can be used to peel a potato, cut an orange, onions or tomatoes, even carve wood or help with plying something, even to slaughter a chicken and feed oneself or others in preparing it.
These are all doctrinaly/teaching based examples which are good. It is evil to use a knife against another person to harm them or take their life, which is an evil doctrinal/teaching based example.
When Eve encountered the physical snake, which is described as the most subtle beast of the field, we already know that adam and eve we're not yet taught how to prepare animals for food or clothing, make fire, or anything of the sort, and that they were so far naked given the fruits of trees and herbs that bear seed as food up to this point. This makes sense of her setting her eyes on the serpent and "seeing that the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL was good FOR FOOD".
This does not mean God was not going to teach them these things and we know this because he made for them coats of skin even though no specific animal kind is reffered to, but we also know for certain that there was an interaction with the devil's spirit(known as "that serpent/snake of old" elsewhere in scripture), along with the physical snake, knowing very well that there are not only one kind of snake on the earth, and that the garden did not only have one single snake or only one of each kind of beast of the field, creatures of the sea, or birds of the air, these having TEEMED and become filled with many of them before adam's physical forming and placement in the garden & naming them.
The KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL is also a reason why immediately after Genesis Chapter 3, the issue that resulted in murder between the older brother and younger of their offspring was an altercation about their "sacrifices", the older brother having offered vegitation and fruit of the field, and the younger having offered from livestock which are animals, the entire old testament also speaking of grain and wine offerings even animal offerings being of a cooking and eating manner in all cases, not just "burnt to ashes".

There is more evidence that lets us know that the woman's encounter with the serpent was conversation with the devil's fallen spirit, such as the mention of the serpent eating dust, as we all know that snakes feed on rodents and other animals physicaly, there is explaination as to what "dust" meant other than physical soil or granules.

The last chapter of the book of daniel speaks of many awakening from the dust of the earth, some to everlasting life, and others to everlasting contempt, which are spiritual results and resolutions. Just noting that adam was breathed from "the dust of the earth" and anyone observing that there are many different color kinds of "soils/dusts", that this points out "principle", and more so any politicising one soil/color over another, such politicisizing being "THE DUST OF THE EARTH", most definately a point of the devil's and demonic condemnation coming after the quick fall where it is written "and darkness was on the face of the deep" from the first chapter of genesis, God never calling darkness "good", but separating/dividing it from the light.
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Amongst the knowledge of evil aside from Good, we already know it is evil to lie & commit fornication which are also harmful things just as killing and physical harmfulness towards others, and there is a clear timeline refference in genesis chapter 4 in the geneaology of cain's descentants where lamech takes two wives and declares himself having commited the sin of murder, in relevant similarity of cain, but in the context of adultery and multiple sexual engagement and behaviour.
Of course cain and abels wives are not recorded individualy besides in naming but to know even why adam said upon setting his eyes on eve declaring her bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh, that for this reason (of oneness of flesh/being) shall a man and woman leave their mother and father (intimate confines/safety) & become one flesh, which obviously was the case for cain and abel and all their descendants in order to be able to multiply and become as many as they were up to noah's flood experience with the significance of the ark & its landing.
The thorns and briers that became from the point of adam and eve being driven out of the garden are significant in that God only blesses and does not curse, and that all he made is Good, why it is written when adressing the bearing of thorns & briers God declaring it "for your sakes" telling adam of the earth being "cursed", not "for God's sake", this also coming after the promise of "The Seed of The Woman", which is relevant to the promise of Jesus in the New Testament since he came and died and resurected for the sins of ALL mankind, written that the 1st adam was made a living soul, the last adam(Jesus) was made a QUICKENING(life giving) Spirit, (1Corinthians15:45) which is very significant and vast.

The mention of women learning in silence in 1Timothy2 is in refference to "the power of the tonge & taming" mentioned in James3, even described in the proverbs of a "contentious woman", more so an example of "old wives fables"(food/physical substance politics) spoken of in 1Timothy4 pointing out these are those kinds of poisonous teachings that juggle placement of Gods creation over or below each other between "good or bad/better or worse" instead of all things horizontaly identifiable by any difference and ALL THINGS GOOD.
An example of a Good woman's teaching in scenario experience is that of a baby touching dusty objects or the ground in the middle of town and putting its fingers in its mouth, encouraging the child with "well done you kmow that all God created is good",(encouraging their strong conscience & not further weakening it re:1Corinthians8-11(11:30)) and not the usual reaction of man madeness where the child is discouraged by shouting because of embarasment or continual hitting their hand of which they will grow into those doctrines warned of in 1Timothy4 where they should be taught that the real "dirt"s in spirit by doctrine/teaching. (This is different from a child playing with fire or sharp object in a harmful manner).
The world has been going through realization of many hypocricies i.e. the using of the toilet where it would be alarming for anyone to directly touch their draught(feaces/soil), with their bare hands, yet when wiping it in using the toilet, the faeces itself is coming directly from inside them, also to note discoveries of matters like urine containing amonium which is used in the very substances made to clean toilets themselves and various other things, also diaper changing for a child by a parent being a joyous time.
Elsewhere in the world, both presently and in the past, animal trackers will note what an animal has eaten or something of its state even by tasting its faeces(soil), to note as well that people are not animals.
Another extreme pointing out is where certain scientists in the asia's have made foodstuffs in laboratories from literal human feaces(soil) and such using protein enhancement and other various cookery measures known as reactors and different kinds of refinery.
It is simple to tell the difference between a person who will force someone to drink their urine or eat their feaces(soil) with evil intent to humiliate or shame them and anyone just reminding someone that there is no harm in the substances, leaving any experience to their own liberty.
